Description: | A. Five sets of: Halting Clean-Grip Deadlifts x 3 reps (pause for 2 seconds at each of the following positions - 2" below the knee and mid-thigh) Rest 2 minutes B. Every 90 seconds, for 15 minutes (10 sets): 5 Hang Power Cleans* 15 Hand-Release Push-Ups *Choose a load for the Hang Power Cleans that you can keep unbroken, but that will be extremely challenging in the later rounds. Athlete's Notes: | A. 185-205-225-245-275. Didn't know where to start with these, but 275 was heavy. B. Totally underestimated this...Did 5 rounds at 185, 3 rounds at 135, and the last 2 rounds at 165. The HR pushups were killing me. I had to strip the weight to keep up with the clock. I think 165 would have been the ideal weight for me. C. Done. |
